Donald Trump has sharply dismissed the latest Iranian proposal aimed at ending the ongoing conflict, describing it as “totally unacceptable” in a post on Truth Social.

The proposal, reported by Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, called for a comprehensive cessation of hostilities on all fronts, alongside the lifting of US sanctions.

It reportedly demanded the easing of restrictions on Iranian oil exports within 30 days and an end to maritime blockades affecting Iran.Trump said he had reviewed the Iranian response and rejected it outright, reiterating his long-standing criticism of Tehran’s conduct.

He also warned that Iran would “no longer be laughing” at the United States, adding that decades of confrontation would not continue unchecked.Iranian sources, quoted by Tasnim, responded defiantly, stating that Tehran was not seeking approval from Trump and that its negotiating position is focused on domestic priorities rather than US expectations.

One source added that Iranian officials view Trump’s negative reaction as unsurprising. The report also included sharp remarks from Trump against previous US administrations, with criticism directed at former presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, accusing them of empowering Iran through financial and diplomatic concessions.
